Extra-Long Driveway Carport Canopy (Stainless Steel Frame + Polycarbonate Roof, Powder Coated Trim)
This project was for a NYC-area home with a long, narrow driveway and multiple entry points that needed all-weather coverage without blocking light. After an on-site measurement, we confirmed post locations, wall-fixing points, and clearance for vehicles and walking paths. We then fabricated a modular stainless steel canopy structure with a continuous polycarbonate roof, using evenly spaced posts for stable load distribution and clean sightlines. To match the brick exterior and keep the edge lines sharper, the fascia/edge trim was finished in a powder coated color, while the main structure stayed in stainless steel. Installation included anchoring the frame to the masonry wall, setting posts on the driveway slab, aligning the roof slope for water runoff, and final sealing at connection points for a neat, durable result that keeps the driveway and side entry reliably protected.
