Stainless Steel Door & Walkway Canopy Upgrade (Polycarbonate Roof, Powder Coated Finish)
This project focused on improving year-round weather protection for multiple entry points and a longer passageway area on a New York home, while keeping the exterior looking clean and upscale. The client wanted a canopy solution that could handle rain and snow, reduce water splash near doors and steps, and visually match the existing brick/stone façade.
We supplied a stainless steel canopy system paired with a curved polycarbonate roof panel, then selected a powder coated finish for a darker, more architectural look on the visible frame and brackets (instead of raw stainless color). After confirming the site dimensions and mounting positions, our team prepared the components, aligned the wall brackets, and installed the canopy frames with reinforced supports for stability. The panels were secured with clean edge trims, and the final alignment was checked for proper runoff direction and a neat front elevation.
Once completed, the entrances and the walkway area gained reliable coverage, the façade looked more organized, and the upgraded canopy line provided a consistent, high-end finish that fits typical NYC neighborhood architecture.
