Stainless Steel Glass Railing Package for Floating Stair + Rooftop Terrace (Black powder coated)
This NYC-area renovation combined multiple elevation changes—an open floating staircase, interior overlook/landing guards, and a rooftop terrace that needed wind protection without blocking views. After an on-site field measure, we produced shop drawings to align every glass panel with the stair stringer lines, landing edges, and roof parapet conditions. The project used a stainless steel glass railing system with black powder coated framing/top rail to match the home’s modern black-and-white interior, plus clear tempered glass panels for a clean, “invisible” safety barrier. Our team coordinated installation timing around other trades, set the base channels/posts, dry-fit panels for tight reveals, then completed final leveling, hardware torque checks, and edge protection. The result is a continuous, minimalist guard system that keeps the staircase and rooftop deck safe while preserving maximum light and skyline views.
