For this Chelsea townhouse upgrade, the client wanted a unified, high-end look from the street all the way into the bathrooms, while keeping everything durable and easy to maintain. We started by taking on-site measurements and confirming clearances, then produced shop drawings for approval to make sure the entry gate/guardrail lines matched the existing masonry and steps, and the shower glass panels aligned cleanly with tile layouts and niches. The exterior scope used polished/brushed stainless steel for the gate, fence sections, and stair railings, with tight weld finishing and reinforced anchoring points for daily use. Inside, we fabricated tempered glass shower panels paired with stainless steel hardware; any non-stainless “colored” finishes shown in the project (such as matte black or gold-toned trims/handles/rails) were specified as powder coated to keep the appearance consistent and corrosion-resistant. Installation was completed with careful leveling, hinge/roller alignment, smooth door travel testing, and final edge sealing—resulting in a clean, modern upgrade that looks premium, functions smoothly, and holds up well in New York’s year-round conditions.
