Powder-Coated Stainless Steel Glass Shower Enclosure Upgrade (Tub & Walk-In Mix)
This project was part of a NYC-area apartment bathroom refresh where the homeowner wanted clean, modern glass enclosures that would visually match the updated fixtures and tile work across multiple shower layouts. Based on the on-site measurements and wall conditions, we provided a coordinated set of tempered glass solutions, including a tub-shower glass screen and sliding door configurations, plus a frameless walk-in/corner style enclosure where needed. Because the visible hardware finish is not stainless steel original color, all metal components were specified as powder-coated stainless steel to achieve the brushed-gold / matte-finish look while keeping corrosion resistance for daily use. After fabrication, the installation team aligned the panels, set the tracks/hinges, adjusted door movement, and sealed the perimeter to control splash and improve long-term watertight performance. The final result is a consistent, high-end bathroom appearance with smoother operation, clearer sightlines, and a more premium “hotel-style” feel.
