This Chelsea renovation needed a clean, modern safety solution for an open staircase and second-floor loft edge without blocking light or views. We started by confirming on-site dimensions, stair angles, and mounting conditions, then produced shop drawings to lock in panel sizes, bracket positions, and handrail alignment. The system was built with tempered clear glass panels and stainless steel mounting hardware, with select handrail/trim finished in powder coated tones (matte black and champagne-gold accents) to match the interior style. After fabrication, our crew installed the base shoes/standoffs, set and leveled each glass panel, sealed and fine-adjusted all joints, and finished with a final safety check for rigidity, smooth transitions at corners/landings, and consistent sightlines throughout the stair run and mezzanine.
