Floating Stair + Clear Glass Guardrail with Powder-Coated Handrail (Stainless Steel System)
This project was part of a full interior renovation featuring a modern open stair and a second-floor overlook. The client wanted maximum transparency for the double-height space while keeping the guardrail line clean and safe. We confirmed field measurements for the stair angle, landing runs, and glass panel joints, then produced tempered clear glass panels with precision-drilled mounting points. The system uses stainless steel structure and fittings, paired with a powder coated top handrail/trim and accents (to match the home’s black and warm-metal design details). After delivery, the installer set base mounts, aligned glass panels for consistent reveal lines, secured the hardware, and finished with final leveling and edge protection checks. The result is a sleek, high-end glass railing that keeps the space bright, opens up sightlines, and delivers a strong, code-ready safety barrier.
