Low-Iron Glass Stair & Mezzanine Railing System (Stainless Steel + Powder Coated Accents)
This Chelsea project focused on upgrading a modern interior staircase and upper-level overlook with a clean, open safety barrier while keeping the space bright and architectural. After an on-site measurement and layout confirmation, we finalized a low-iron tempered glass railing design with precise panel sizing, clean edge alignment, and consistent sightlines across the stair runs and landing areas. The system was built around stainless steel structural hardware and handrails, with select elements finished in powder coated black and powder coated champagne/gold to match the client’s interior palette. Installation included careful floor and wall protection, accurate base positioning, glass setting and leveling, then final handrail alignment and stability checks. The finished result delivers a seamless, high-end look with strong safety performance, minimal visual obstruction, and a polished transition between the staircase, mezzanine, and adjacent open spaces.
